What we are building

Tachnat Industries is setting up a garment manufacturing unit for woven shirts and trousers at Vijayanarayanam, in Radhapuram Taluk. The first phase is a single production block where fabric is cut, sewn and finished under one roof — with the space around it planned for the unit to grow.

The site

The land is laid out as a campus around a 9-metre main road. First comes Factory A, a 60 m × 27.4 m pre-engineered steel building, with the office, canteen, utility buildings and security it needs to run. Land beside it is kept for two more factory blocks as the unit grows, along with a staff dormitory and an open-space reserve of about a third of an acre.
